Anna is a high school counselor in Naperville who is passionate about helping families find high quality and affordable post-secondary education options. Anna has over a decade of experience helping students and their families navigate the financial aid and college admissions process.

Prior to becoming a school counselor, Anna worked as a financial aid expert for the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (a state agency that administers financial aid programs).  From assisting over 1,000 families, she has gained in-depth expertise on all areas of the financial aid process including the FAFSA, CSS profile, award letter reviews, verification procedures, and the appeal process.  While working at ISAC, Anna received recognition for establishing college mentoring and financial literacy programs for hundreds of students at multiple high schools within Illinois.

Anna received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s Degree from Northern Illinois University.  She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and has obtained her Professional Educator License (PEL).  In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, being at Zumba class, and volunteering at the animal shelter.
