Appealing a Financial Aid Award Offer
Colleges and universities regularly increase their financial aid offer to lower the actual price a family pays. But they won’t do that unless a family “appeals” for more financial aid. We use our skills and data to advise you on this process.
(This module is included with the purchase of any other module or package. Existing clients work with us on a contingency basis and are only charged if the appeal is successful at the school the client chooses to attend. No net cost to the client.)
What to Expect From This Module
- After you’ve been accepted, you email us all your financial aid award letters.
- We review them to make sure you are being offered a fair deal.
- We consult with you to advise on the appeal process.
- If we decide to appeal, we deliver a letter ready to be sent to the college and then help you with any follow-up.
Payment Plan for Existing Clients
You only pay if we lower costs at the college where you enroll.
- Contingent appeals are offered as a no-fixed-cost service.
- If we increase your financial aid award and lower your costs at the
college where you enroll, you pay us 25% of your first-year savings (up
to $2,500). - If your financial aid award is not increased, you owe us zero.
Payment Plan for New Clients
- A $195 deposit is due to enroll in the module.
- If we increase your financial aid award and lower your costs at the

to $2,500). - If your financial aid award is not increased, your $195 deposit will be refunded.
